Soha wins Best Poster Award at NVP 2023!

For the second time in a row, Soha was the recipient of the Best Poster award at the 2023 NVP Winter Conference. We are very proud of her achievements! The poster titled “A nudge in the ‘right’ direction: TUS over the Frontal Eye Fields” included the results of Soha’s latest Transcranial Ultrasonic Stimulation (TUS) study. She successfully translated an online TUS protocol previously found to be effective in monkeys for use in humans. Stimulating the left frontal eye fields resulted in excitatory effects: significantly more contralateral saccades. A similar effect was not found in the right hemisphere.
