Mihaela, Fleur, and Floris join the lab!
We are happy to welcome three new students to the lab! They are all studying Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University and have chosen to do their internship in our lab this year.
Mihaela, surpervised by Soha, will work on applying transcranial ultrasonic stimulation (TUS) in a gamified adaptation of the Go/No-Go task, aiming to contribute to our understanding of motivational behavior, particularly action coding in Pavlovian biases, and its neurobiological implementation.
Floris is also supervised by Soha in a brain stimulation study using TUS, which aims to explore the mechanisms of learning and decision-making, as well as to examine the flexibility in relearning new actions.
Fleur will investigate the role of serotonin in meta-decision making using behavioral gamified task combined with a pharmacological intervention, under the supervision of Renée. She is interested in whether serotonin plays a role in how we invest our (cognitive) resources.
