Mihaela Belacurencu - RA
Mihaela Belacurencu completed her Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University and is currently a research assistant in the lab of dr. Hanneke den Ouden.
During her internship, she investigated the roles of the nucleus accumbens and the amygdala in Pavlovian-instrumental control, under the supervision of Soha Farboud. This project employed a multi-session, double-dissociation intervention study combining fMRI, transcranial ultrasonic stimulation (TUS) and behavioral measures to disentangle the computational contributions of the targeted brain regions.
As a research assistant, she is currently helping to coordinate a multi-session pharmacological study investigating the effects of serotonin on meta-decision making.
