Interview by NPO Radio 1: How do we make decisions?

In ‘De Nacht van Wetenschap’ (in English: The Night of Science) for NPO Radio 1, Hanneke was invited to talk about the research in her lab, and was interviewed on how we make decisions. Decisions like what to have for breakfast, or what job to apply for. Some well thought-out, others more impulsive. Hanneke talked about how we make decisions, and which brain regions allow for different decision-making strategies, and what the relationship between these regions means for our (decision-making) behavior. She also explained if and how it is possible to modulate or influence our decision-making behavior, for example through (ultrasound) stimulation, or the use of drugs. Listen to the interview here!
